In many places, the use of existing resources greatly exceeds their regenerative capacity. Our environment is heavily burdened by the excessive consumption of raw materials in the areas of infrastructure and mobility. Market-based and ecological decisions need to be reconciled.
As documented in our company logo, corent AG is committed to both ecology and economy. And we don't just pay lip service to this when using our NT products!
For some time now, we have been coming across a buzzword again and again: The "CO2 Footprint". It is the result of an emissions calculation and indicates the quantity of greenhouse gases released by an activity, process or action. All products have a CO2 footprint. This records the sum of the emissions caused by the manufacture, use, recycling and disposal of the respective product.
Such an assessment analyses the potential ecological, economic and technical impact of NT BASE® products over the entire service life of the structure. In this way, we provide clients with essential factors for sustainable decision-making when choosing the execution of their infrastructure measures and thus lay the foundation for sustainable construction. At the suggestion and under the guidance of the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics IBP, we have developed our NT Base®-additive tested for environmental compatibility by external specialist laboratories. We are happy to make the results of this work available to anyone interested in our additive.
